Wow! It's only been 9 months, 3 days, and 11.5 hours since our last post! We could have had a baby in that time! (We didn't.)
But we've done enough in the interim that it feels about like having a baby: we planted a mongo garden and ran a drip system; cut down the old poplar trees; tiled the girls' downstairs bathroom; irrigated weekly and weeded a lot; watched Lacy get herself a job with better hours and more pay at the UPS Store (doing shipping for her parents finally paid off); hired Logan at the office full time to do graphics and tech support; tried out three sales people at Renasis (kept one); contemplated a journey to the Cole family reunion but withdrew at the last minute - van trouble; sent the big girls to Especially for Youth and Girls' Camp; started Lorin at the high school and Lacy as a Senior with lots of UVU classes; started Beth in Constitutional Law at George Wythe College; moved Ki's mom down from Seattle; sent Ki to China, Korea, and Taiwan; prayed for Uncle LaMar and little Joshua a lot, and rooted for Uncle Tate and Auntie AJ as they built their house in Kansas; harvested a garden full of corn, potatoes, beans, carrots, squash, tomatoes; raked lots of leaves (but less than usual); painted and sold our Provo house to the Smiths.
Beth and Ki got released from the nursery and Ki began to teach Lacy's Sunday School class while Beth became the RS counselor in charge of education. Lacy and Lorin were both the presidents of their YW classes and got experience in planning and conducting meetings.
Levi is forging ahead in Scouts and Leanne is about to graduate from Primary and join her sister in Young Women.
We are anticipating Thanksgiving with the Chunsters, Coles, and Bakers, and are REALLY excited for the Cole Family Christmas coming up. Will & Julie, Jesse & Holly, Tonia & LaMar, and AJ & Tate, with all their kids, will join Max & Deanne, Beth & Ki, and Cody & Suzi, with all their kids, in Utah for Christmas this year. We will miss Kaym & Cam ( who is on call as a PA in Alaska throughout the holidays) and their boys, but will get to see them all summer long. So if you can stop by to see the Coles, come about December 29 and you'll catch a bunch of us.
Life is fast and full. We will try to keep you better "posted."
